    I just asked for a small bit of advice like. It might save you giving €50 if you went into the doctor. The moderators need to understand that many of the posters are very intelligent and may need to grow up when it comes to closing topics. STUPID!!!

    A small bit of advice could also cause you a lot of harm if it was inaccurate or based on the wrong information. You might as well be stopping a random person on the street and asking them your question as posting it in this forum - you have no idea of the person's expertise. If you want to save money going to the GP with your question, go into a pharmacy where you can get advice from a pharmacist.

    Any very intelligent posters would understand the dangers of requesting medical advice from strangers on the Internet. Any other posters probably need to be protected from themselves. I suggest if you want this policy changed, send a pm to the admins.
