Toshiba 37" tv €299 Tesco

    Toshiba 37" tv in Tesco today marked down from €599 to €299. They are positioned near entrance/exit in Killarney store , just where weekly special offers are . About 10 or so, boxes stacked. Don't know spec etc - it wasnt clear on box - but might be of interest to someone.

    Anyone find out the model number? Only 37 inch toshiba in Clare hall is 589 euro, model no. 37rv753

    A friend was in today and the tvs are no longer on display at the front "special offer" area of store.. I dont know if they're gone or just moved.

    Same ones that were on sale a year or so ago for 399

    HD Ready, freeview but not saorview.

    Still good value. They had about 5 left downstairs in Douglas yesterday.

    I phoned a friend in Tesco, it was a mistake in the system, as soon as someone tried to buy it they realised it and withdraw the offer :(

    Sorry senior moment, the tesco no quibble policy only applies if the price at the till is higher - I've had lots of free stuff that way.
