download file on Rte Player!!!!!!

    there is a program on RTE Player that I want to download and keep. the site says this particular Program will go off RTE player tonight. Is there any way I can download or upload it to Youtube

    The only way I know would be to have a TV and Audio OUT ports on a PC / Laptop and then connect these to the AV input sockets of maybe a DVD Recorder or PVR.

    try [MOD EDIT URL deleted, no piracy] i have used it to rip songs from youtube. Its been a while since i used it but im sure it can rip video files too. Just enter the url for the file you want and they will save it and email it to you. Hopefully it might work for rte player also.
    Im in work so cant check it now as the site is blocked in here

    There is NO legal way to download programmes from RTÉ Player. Its strictly a streaming service.

    Use a DVD-R, Sky Plus, or UPC Digital+ (or even, dare I mention it, VHS) if you want to record programming from RTÉ.
