    a buddy of mine was called out yesterday day after noon to a deer that was in some sort of trouble in a field in west wicklow.Thinking it was a road injury or a wounded animal , he was confronted with a cracking 8 pointer stag when he walked into the field.he did not have to do any crawling or sneaking up on the deer as it turned out he was blind in both eyes. surprising he was in good enought condition and even had the top of one of his tines broken where he must of been doing some sort of fighting or defending him self. He had been seen by locals over the last month and had been able to manage to cross the river
