UPC set-top-box model and slingbox

Hi guys,
does anybody know what model are the upc set top boxes? I guess they have different ones depending on the subscription, am I right?

Particularly I'm looking for information about the compatibility of the upc set-top-boxes with slingbox without having a tv at all, so if anybody has info can please let me know?

I have UPC HD and Slingbox Solo. Remote doesn't work

I was just about to get a Slingbox. I have a UPC HD too. Does this mean it is uselss or is there some type of work around.:(

I got a sling box solo and have the upc hd box. This setup doenst work. If you have a hd cable connected from the upc box to the tv the component on the upc is disabled.

I have my Slingbox working with my UPC standard box without any problems.
Piggy-backed off the scart connection.
Remote works if you download the Slingplayer and the rmdu file for the box in question.

Sling works on the Plus box too, but I've not tried the remote yet with it

Slingbox works perfectly with UPC box's. The remote works if you select UCP as the make of the box (even though it is either a Pace or Cisco box).

The only problem is with the new HD box's. Your set top box can only output via SCART or HDMI, noth both at the same time. The problem is when the HDMI cable is pliged into the TV, only audio is passed via the SCART to the slingbox. Only workaround I have found it to disconnect the HDMI cable when leaving the house.

I was looking at the Slingbox Pro and Slingbox HD. Unfortunetly this these have the same problem with UPC box's.

Hi,
I have a slingbox Pro and a UPC box, it is NOT HD, does anyone know how to connect the Slingbox to it, seems to be only a coax out in the back, also in the setup what did you select for UPC box type etc.,
