Nicorette Gum do i need to pay a doctor to get it?

Hi Lads, I want to give up smoking and want to do it the cheapest way possible I picked up gum in England out of a chemist last year and it worked great. Do i need to go to a doctor here before they can sell it to me or is it just over the counter like headache tablets? Any help appreciated :)

The Nicorette products are available without prescription, you can just go into a chemist and they'll sell it to you.
