Let the banks serve their owners.

Now that we own the majority stake in the banks we demand that the banks extend their opening hours to suit the general populace.

We should also refuse any further pay increases for the overpaid staff who open from 10 to 4 and also receive subsidised car liane, mortgages, gym memberships, golf club fees and the like.

    Enoughnis enough.

Now that we own the banks, we should renege on the debts the banksters accrued.
They're not our debts and we shouldn't pay for them.

The general populace is about to find itself with a lot more free time during the day, plenty of time to go to the bank.

Do the people on the dole own the banks, too?

Now that we own them it should be really easy to get a mortgage.

Used to work in a bank, was paid €18300 per year(before tax) with college degree, working hours were from 9-6, had to do unpaid overtime if anyone had an imbalance in their cash(happened at least twice a week) subsidised gym memberships etc were only available to the first 100 employees who got lucky in the "internal lottery"(out of the thousands of employees countrywide) and could avail of a mortgage with preferential rates but was below the wage threshold to actually qualify.

Start blaming the people who are really at fault and not the little people who are trying to get by just like the rest of us.

Shinikens, I think *most* people who are angry with the banks are focusing their ire a lot further up the ladder than where you were standing (and so they should be).

    I stressed *most*. ;)

You'll always get those who paint with a yardbrush, especially in AH ...

"All Public Servants are overpaid lazy gits who do no work"

"Bank staff are overpaid, get free golf club membership, and only work from 10-4"

"Everyone in Ireland is equally to blame for the current economic crisis, they all voted for FF and took out huge loans to buy six bedroomed houses".
