Skirmishing as a sniper

I just have a small question about skirmishing as a sniper

I was thinking about what gear would suit best for sniping.
    I wouldn't wear a vest.
How would pouches that could attach on to my belt work out? (pistol pouches that I can also put sniper mags into)?

Please give me your ideas and also what you do too.
    Thanks

    Hi Nolan,

FireKitten wrote a series of related articles on sniping in airsoft; they're on boards somewhere and also hosted on redbadger.org here:
    1. Sniper serial #1
    2. Sniper serial #2
    3. Sniper serial #3
    4. Sniper serial #4
    5. Sniper serial #5

In summary to your questions though (and from what I remember from the articles and what she's said in general to me); she doesn't use a vest and prefers a belt-kit instead - obviously no pouches or anything front-side of the hips to hinder your ability to get low to the ground and crawl.

Yea, Firekitten's posts are a great help, i just use a flat tac vest (strike-arms) Its worked well but my mags are on a hip holster or side pouch to easily get them.

Load carrying should be a belt, that's all you need, with three pouches and a hip holster for a sidearm.

Mags, water (very important), spare BBs (if you want) and your pistol.
Thats it, anything more becomes too cumbersome. No point dressing like a tank.

Oh and mesh goggles if you can get them, they wont glint or give you away in a bush. Happens too often when i played.

Just be patient and wait for the shot. Good luck with it
