Politicians, celebrities, businessmen, journalists etc reading Boards.

    I was wondering does anyone know of any politicians, celebrities, businessmen, journalists etc who log on to Boards? Or more importantly AH?

    Some fairly strong posts have been made about various people in the publics eye.

    Do you think it's time we start a thread to write open comments/ letters to these people in the hope that they will see them? Or we could send transcripts to them? Pick the best of the crop so to speak.

    Obviously we wouldn't be able to post personal abuse, but I'd enjoy reading a few choice letters to the usual asswipes we love to hate & it would give me a warm feeling inside to know it was sent to them.

    I've e-mailed numerous politicians over the past few years on different issues.

    Most of them have not responded. Some who responded avoided answering the questions I asked. And a handful took the time to write considered responses.

    Joan Burton & Michael D.Higgins were the most responsive. No Fianna Fail or Green Party member has ever responded.

    Richard Bruton has always responded and even came to our door a few times. He is the only politician that I would trust running this country.

    OK. I can completely understand where you're coming from. However such a move should be one made with acceptance from the boards powers that be. Legal concerns will be raised and I would not be familiar enough to launch such a campaign now in After Hours (now would After hours be the best place for such a thing). That notwithstanding, the point of the original post is still an interesting one and one worthy of discussion. Feedforward or feedback might be the place for this. OP please PM me at any stage if you want this moved or have any further questions.
