Only thing available in the Dublin 8 area is the digital tv package.
Doesnt seem to be any move on providing the the whole package either as the few inquiries ive made over the last few years have been met with lots of head scratching,or even worse, the insurances that it will be happening any time now.

    any help appreciated.

I was told within 3 months on Friday. Really surprised the City Centre area hasnt been upgraded. Think of all the business custom lost.

I'm in the Dublin 8 area and only recently (over the last couple of months) has UPC broadband and phone become available. I had checked before and it was available in some areas of D8, just not where I am.

One day I noticed a yellow cover had been added to all our electricity cables (similar to attachment), and this was a precursor to UPC coming and doing whatever they needed to do...

Whereabouts in Dublin 8? They've been doing upgrades in Ballyfermot and some parts of Inchicore over the last couple of months, so these should now get the full range of services. Might have been a strange choice considering that Ballyfermot could already get broadband, just no HD, and there's other areas that are analogue/digital TV only.
