any thoughts on this price, and the quality of their stuff?

Just spent the last month looking and pricing exactly the same. The simple answer is that this is pretty much the going rate everywhere for list price... but ask for a discount for the size of area you have, and also look out for specials- RPT often have 20% off weekends and such. Also get a written quote from another place and take that to RPT to get them to beat it etc. Qualty wise seems grand.

Also get total price including adhesive and grout - this can vary substantially from supplier to supplier. Often good to ask your tiler to include this with their fitting price. also means that you dont have the headache of how much to supply - the tiler will know spot on...

Final thing- see what the return policy is on the tiles. Most places charge 15% on full boxes to return and you always get more than is needed. Supplier I used didnt charge any return price and gave 100% back on unused full boxes..

Do not touch with 10 ft barge poll. Lots of there tiles are slightly different sizes. Also lots of tile shops are quoting cheaper in galway but not sure about rest of country.

the last poster is correct tiles are different sizes sourced from cheap manufacturers.they will also tell you you need certain products to go with the tiles ie fz protective impregnator cement away etc which is just obviously to up the price. Also sell you adhesives and grout at nearly twice the price you can buy in hardware stores and other suppliers.

As for their sales 1/2 price and 70% sales prices are exact same prices only rrp changes. Prices drop only by as much as 2 euro on out of sale prices, and some don't even change.

Most stores do not accept returns of adhesive, grout, borders. They will also apply a restocking charge of 20% on excessive returns or credit note(even though you have tiled ur whole house with them and you don't need anymore tiles)
