    Hi guys,

There was a fillet of hake left on a plate in the fridge for a few days, which went off and stank up the fridge. Got a bunch of vegetables sitting in there too, no chance it would be harmful to eat them?

They might smell but I would think it would have to be in direct contact to transfer -but wait for other replies.

To get rid of any left over smell get a large plate and spread out baking soda on it AKA bread soda, AKA bicarbonate of soda. This will absorb bad smells in your fridge, many people keep a small egg cup of it in the fridge at all times for this reason.
