    hey boards,
Just wondering what is the minimum requirments for practising law in the states. Do you need a pre-law degree (ie a B.A) or will a level 8 law degree form an irish univerisity do??

Afaik, you don't need a law degree to practice law anywhere, you just have to pass the relevant professional bar exams. A degree may exempt you from 2 out of 10 exams or something but it's not a pre requisite. Every state in the US has a different bar association and different requirements, a licence to practice in New York doesn't allow you to practice in California. I may be wrong on all this however :pac:
