When you say buff, I assume you mean clean and polish. The best way to clean clubs is to use warm soapy water and a nail brush, give the heads a good scrub to get all the gunk out of the grooves, scrub the grips with the nail brush also, dry with a towel and leave to dry, do not put the clubs back in the bag with damp grips.

regular cleaning will keep the clubs looking nice & shiny

I use and old toothbrush with warm soapy water and an old towel to dry, works fine!

Every now and then I use Brasso on the shafts and heads and it does polish them up and remove any traces of rust that might appear on the shafts.

Note that shiny clubfaces on your wedges is not a fantastic idea in summer...

i was at an exhibition recently and had my clubs cleaned by the ClubScrub.
Its a machine that lets off sonic waves through water at very high frequencies (I think)
Great job on the head and an even better job on the grips
    I was well impressed!!

Dunno where its available - I know dun laoghaire golf club have one near there putting green - Tokens avail in the proshop
