5 Year Medicine: Science Subjects...

    Hey,
I got an A1 in Biology and an A2 in Physics for LC 2010 (and enough LC/HPAT points for Medicine)
Would I have a chance at getting 5 year medicine if I got a good grade in Chemistry this year for the LC 2011 if the rest of my LC and HPAT was done in 2010??

Has anyone here got 5 year NUIG Med, or knew anyone who got it?

    Cheers :D

I think for med all results/requirements have to be from the same year... so doing the chemistry exam could be pointless.... im not sure though...

Hey, I'm pretty sure that if you apply for the CAO this year (or did you already defer a place if you had the points?) going on enough LC/HPAT points (they'll have to be enough for the 2011 entry), and having done chemistry this year, you can skip premed.

I would say ring the admissions office now and make sure, but I think that I know someone who did that. You'll probably have to ring them when you get the CAO offer in august before the letters for first med are sent out to let them know.

Hey guys, I'm looking for someone to join me on a Med-Entry workshops <hpat preparation>so that we can both benefit from major discounts. It's quite expensive but with a group, the price almost halfs (€350). Is anybody interested?
