Buying B2 Mountain Boots in Dublin

    Hi all,

My old pair of meindl leather boots gave up the ghost last year, after about 10 years use.

I'm now looking to buy a new pair, before heading over on a trip to vancouver (where it is cold) in a few weeks.

I'd like to buy something that I can use for winter hill walking, but is stiff enough to work reasonably well with crampons, and ice. So, a B2 pair of boots.

Having difficulty finding someone to sell me such a pair in Dublin - was in Great Outdoors, Outdoor adventure center, and BaseCamp today.
Only GOD had anything promising, and they didn't carry my size (13).

Where else would I look for boots like this in Dublin?
53degrees north? Snow&Rock Dundrum? Are they likely to carry this sort of technical gear? Any specialist shop I don't know of?
Or maybe I'll just have to take a chance on buying a pair on-line - any suggestions welcome.

GOD may be able to order you a pair in your size although you'd need to be sure of the right size first.

I'd say snow and rock, they seem to have quite a good range of boots at the moment, you'd be lucky to get a pair in size 13 that suited you though, they will probably need to order them in.
