Gift for a woman in her 40s/50s I've only ever met once

Hi there, my cousin decided that our extended family should do a Kris Kindle this year as money is scarce on the ground. Nice idea in principle, but I've been landed with my uncle's girlfriend who I've only ever met once. Din't realise she now counts as family, but there you go. She's probably around 40-50 given my uncle's age. I have no idea what her tastes are. I could go generic and get her a voucher for a spa or something. She may or may not live in Co. Clare so I'm not sure what spas or shops are around there. I generally like getting people personalised gifts, but this woman is a total stranger so I wouldn't have a clue.

So basically I need something generic that seems well thought out, any help would be appreciated!

How much are you looking at spending?

OP, if I were you I'd call your uncle in secret. I know that with a Kris Kindle you're not supposed to know who got you your gift but this is a special case!

If you decide to go down the voucher route, the One4All vouchers are great because they can be used nationwide in loads of outlets, so you won't run the risk of getting her a voucher for somewhere she can only go once a year. http://www.one4all.ie/

Do you know where your uncle lives? Presumably she spends some time there, so maybe a restaurant voucher for somewhere near where he lives? I've always found restaurant vouchers go down very well.

Cheers for that Grindelwald! I've been asking my cousin (my uncle's daughter) to keep an ear out for if the uncle's girlf drops any hints. Apprently she's a doctor so she has pretty much everything she needs/wants. I'd rather not get a one4all voucher as they're very generic, thanks for the help though :)
