Biggest Waste of Talent

WWE has always acquired exceptionally good talent, the likes of colt cobana have been criminally under utilized by WWE andcast in stupid roles. Nick Dinsmore was said to be a great talent before been cat in a stupid gimmick, same with val venis....agreed they made the most of their gimmicks but in fairnes there was no real room for them to progress above the midcard. so just interested to know what currently future endevoured worker, the boards comumunity think could of been used differently to recieve their max potential?

Well personally my vote would go to Paul Birchill. He was one of the first wrestler from this side of the waters (along with jody fleisch and johnny storm) that i couldnt stop raving about. this was a legit big man who could do the craziest ****, standing shootin stars, moonsault rock bottoms, somersault planchas and he just totally blew me away. He seemed to be doing great as the ripper before being called up and then was saddled with a stupid pirate gimmick, i was gutted.

He then went away and came back with kaite lee and everything looked promising again.....curb stomp like finisher was a cool move and he gobbled up a few workers in squash matches got in a program with kofi and then was moved to ECW and lost loads, got in a program with in a filler program with hurricane and now he's a fireman or something :(

Just dont see why he couldnt of been given a oppurtunity like shemus was or drew?honourable mention to mike awesome in wcw and wwe to

The only problem Estrada had was being around in the wrong era. They stopped him announcing his entrance because it was getting over. I thought that was the point of the business? They can be morons at times.

Completely agreed with Umaga. He should've been world champ. His matches with Cena and Hardy should've been enough to warrant a good go. Thanks Triple H.

I'm gonna gloss over the ol' favourites for another name.

Sean O'Haire had a fantastic 'Devil's Advocate' character and was jakked (although his wrestling :o) and instead of putting him in a high-profile feud with Shawn (who would've gotten him way over); they stick him with Roddy Piper. Gormless face Roddy Piper. :(

I was watching some WCW 2000 there a few weeks ago and it struck me that Sean O' Haire should've been a star - he was astoundingly athletic for a man his size.

Yeah I liked him too. I read somewhere that WWE only gave him that gimmick as they wanted their own WWE version of Samoa Joe, as didn't expect him to be as over as he was.
