Clubs in North Co Dublin/Meath

    Hi all,

    Does anyone have a list of pistol clubs in North Co Dublin or Meath, for 22 cal pistol shooting? Have looked at the NASRPC site, however any that look like they are in the area don't have websites/details.

    Any feedback will be much appreciated.

    Joe,

    If you send an email to competitions@nasrpc.ie or fill in the contact form on their website - with your query they will try to put you in contact with some clubs near you.

    North Dublin and Meath do not really have any Smallbore Pistol Ranges.
    You would be looking at South County Dublin (Eagles, BRC) or further afield in Kildare or Wicklow.

    Shooting clubs in general and pistol clubs in particular are a rare bird so it is not always possible to find one near you. My own club in Wicklow has members from as far away as Mayo (and yes they do travel to practice, compete and take part in club activities regularly)

    Not sure about the University clubs in Dublin City and their capability as regards smallbore pistol but you would have to be or have been a student of the relevant college to use them.

    Only club I know of in Meath is Wilkinstown but it is Air Pistol only as far as I know (haven't had an opportunity to go there yet)

    DURC doesn't do any pistol (one look at the range and it's obvious why!) but UCDRC does air pistol.

    OP: depending on where you live, it mightn't be that much of a stretch to get to somewhere like BRC, ECSC, Hilltop or Rathdrum.
