funny that they specifically mention prices to Ireland despite them being illegal...

    It detects cameras. WOW!!!!!!

Just so you know. The camera will have already taken a picture of you by the time you cop on the to dash mounted warning and have taken speed related action.

A little box tells you about the camera and a few weeks later a fine reminds you all about it.

Save your €583 folks for paying the fines.

Thats rubbish, the vans work on radar and you get warning up to 2km off more if there is cars in front scattering the radar. I know this as a fact, from a friend of a friend ;). Get a good detector, maybe get ONE for VALENTINE day. They are totally useless for lasers held by guards.

Depends on the area and road, a cousins poodle groomers granny I know say it give plenty of notice to slow and has saved her on many many occasions, which is disgraceful for a pensioner to be breaking the law.

My personal feeling would be if you obey the speed you could save yourself a lot of money

However i think if these sites become permanant fixtures it would be cheaper to wait for garmin to come out with the warning software...

and your not breaking the law either...

The way to tell is by asking....am I driving past an automatic door or a van parked on the side of the road. Slow down either way.
