    Hi,
Just looking for some pointers as to how I could get into lecturing.
I have BSc hons in Pharmacology and MSc in Biomedical Science. I'm currently working in a lab.
I know to do secondary teaching I'd need to do H Dip but have no idea as what to do in order to lecture.

    Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

Realistically, a Ph.D and a couple of postdocs, plus some publications in decently ranked journals.

Thanks, thought as much myself. Was hoping though I could get into some local colleges (not ITs or unis) with not much more than I have.

What do you mean by some local colleges - secondary schools or colleges of further education?

Colleges of FE are in the same category as second level so realistically you would need the PGDE for teaching in one.
