As part of the Graduate medical degree in UL I have to shadow a health care professional who is NOT a Dr for 2 weeks at the start of the summer next year. The point is to see the system from another point of view to help gain understanding of the professionals we work closest with.

So if you are a physiotherapist / pharmacist / nurse / paramedic or in any other position that works in the medical profession (or if you know anyone who is, particularly if you are in the Dublin/Meath area), I would really appreciate it if you could PM me.

Needless to say any advice on searching for this sort of placement would also be welcome!

I'd have thought the best way would be to drop into a few pharmacies/physios etc whatever and ask face to face - start at the ones most convenient for you to get to and work outwards... if I wasn't just locuming I'd say yes, I can't imagine it'd be that difficult to find a placement
