The Christmas special was my favourite episode- I thought the writers did such a great job with how they ended it. Not too schmaltzy, just with a bit of hope that things will work out okay. :)
Where David tells Finchy to "Fcuk off" at the end, finally sticking up for himself after basically being made a mockery by that horrible man for years was great. :D

Indeed it was a fantastic episode. The scene where David is waiting outside for his date and a fat lady walks up and:
    Woman: Hello.
    David Brent: Hiya.
    Woman: All right?
    David Brent: Yeah.
    Woman: Is Monkey in there?
David Brent: [can't hide his surprise and relief] Oh yeah.
    Woman: You all right?
David Brent: Yeah, I was expecting a blind date, and was worried you were it.

That had me in stitches for ages, even now thinking about it.

The show was fantastic, such a shame it lasted 2 seasons, its sad that the US version lasted so long, 7 seasons i think, and its not anywhere near as good as this one. Such a wonderful show.

If you love this i definitely recommend "Extras", another hilarious show from Gervais and Merchant.

Extras........not for me. Not a patch on The Office.

The US conversion, suprising fairly good. Steve Carell can be a funny gason too.
