iPhone 4 Error - Colour Distortion/Flickering/Frozen

    Hi,

Last night the screen on my iPhone completely malfunctioned. The colour has become distorted. The bottom third of the screen is constantly flickering, and it also projects an overlapping mirror image consisting of the top third of the screen (right now both the time and date appear on top of the 'slide to unlock' function, both are flickering constantly).

The phone is only six weeks old, is in excellent condition, has never been dropped or been subjected to any kind of damage or abuse. I don't know what to do. It is not insured.

Has any one heard of this problem before? If so, is there a way to repair it? If not, do Apple provide a warranty of any kind?

In that case, sorry for asking the obvious. I'll try iTunes now.

just be wary that restoring will remove everything from it
