Moustache racism

I'm growing my first ever moustache for Movember and doing so has opened my eyes.

1st of all the girlfriend wont go near me. Never believe that women want charitible and good-hearted men, it's all about the arm candy.

2ndly it's always referred to in perjorative terms as 'that ridiculous moustashe' or 'your stupid-looking moustache'. Imagine for a second I did that with some ethnic minority.........

and finally, while looking through the newspapers this morning I found that Michael O'Leary's moustache was attacked in almost all of them and called 'a hitler moustache' in one! Even though it isn't a Hitler 'stache by any stretch of the imagination.

Hitler moustache is like the n-word to my people.

Other birds are a different story, but I suspect they all just want a bit of rough.

Not mad on moustaches personally, but have seen a few cool ones around.

But hey, you're doing it for a very good cause, and thats the main thing :)

Hitler and Stalin ruined the tache for us back in the 40's, by far their worst crime.

Freddie Mercury made it cool for the gays to have one in the 80's

If it wasn't for Scatman John leading the charge in the 90's the tache would be long forgotten by now

    I feel your pain OP.

I'm a mo bro too. However, I've been largely complimented on my new 'tache by others - and - since I'm gay, well I look the part of a Fire Island hedonist male circa 1979.:D

    Tom Selleck?

I'm gonna grow a Hitler moustache in preparation for our German visitors. If they don't like it I'll just say it's a Chaplin 'tache.

The 80's are over...chicks hate hair.

My girlfriend told me she loved me 9 months ago. Recently I completely shaved "down there" and she said "OMG I love you so much!!!"

So what about the last 9 months?!?!?!

Long story short, bitches love bald guys

I'm aware of Mr. Selleck's work, the Hawaiian shirts did us no favours though

See now I envy that, I get the feeling I'd be cleaning up right now if I were gay (and single).

I think maybe I trimmed it into a hilarious Cary Grant style a bit too early.

People with a mustache are ugly, have a big ego of themselves because they have a mustache and are generally scruffy feckers, bullies and not intelligent.

    Just saying.

    based on a true story

I disagree with that. The presence of the Hawaiian shirts only serve to further highlight the quality of Mr. Selleck's wonderful creation.

His tache is so powerful that it caused people to overlook the shirts, which presented irrefutable proof as to the validity and power of having the right tache.

It doesn't take much to impress someone who is otherwise surrounded by mushrooms.

I'm not a fan of moustaches, they usually look silly!

    However, a nice beard!! Mmmmmm.

Also muffvember, terrible idea! and most of the guys i know doing moveber are just doing it coz it's cool, the majority haven't been sponsored as far as i know!!

Facial hair ftw - don't mind that "Women don't like it" nonsense. Plenty do. Nothing more spine-melty than the awesome sensation of stubble on your lips... and on your mouth too! Zing! :pac:

Lots of facial hair styles though are a no-no for women who appreciate facial furniture. And too much of it (e.g. Santa, Brian Blessed) - I'd imagine that's more of a minority taste.

But a bit of stubble, an early-stage beard, sometimes a goatee - raar! :pac:

I think I've dated some of those women. Nothing as hateful as getting a beardrash from a woman.

I shaved off my beard before I got married, just to see what it looked like under there. Let's just say the missus insisted I grow it back straight away.

It's a shame that David Brent ruined the goatee, though.
