I recently changed my tyres from run flats to normal tyres but I now have no spare wheel. I was going to use the best of the 4 old tyres and Get an alloy in a scrap yard but the thoughts of this sitting in the boot taking up room would get to me eventually.
rang Joe Duffy and he quoted me 288 for a space saver spare wheel kit( includes jack).
was wondering is there a cheaper option out there for the spare wheel

I know a mate of mine with a 3 series bought a mini compressor and a can of tyre repair sealant. Might be worth considering.

Would be hard to find a space saver at a breakers I guess due to the runflats on new bmws.
You could find out what cars have the same wheel fitment as yours and maybe get a spacesaver from one of those. Also find out if the jack has changed at all down the years. maybe you could get one from an older bmw that had a sparewheel as standard.
You could always try a uk dealer for a price comparison too
