    Hi all,

Im off to buy a new 3d tv this weekend and im not sure which one to got for.

Its a toss up between the Sony KDL-40HX803 and the
    Samsung UE40C7000

First is the Sony, the total cost of this to get it to 3d is 1730 Euro with sony vat back scheme.
    This includes,
    Blue Ray player
    2 pairs of 3d glasses
    1 3d transmitter
    5 3d movies
It also comeswith a 5 year warranty.

My other choice is the Samsung UE40C7000 3d tv.The cost of this is 1499 Euro.
    It comes with,
    Blu ray player
    2 Pairs if 3d glasses
    1 year warrenty.

Ive seen both tv's and looked at reviews online, they are pretty similar.
I think the Sony might be better value for money with the 5 year warrenty?

Does anyone have one of the above tv's? Which one would you go for?
    Thanks for the help.
    Jason

Not a fan of the 3D tvs,but for the extra quid and much better warranty,I'd go for the Sony. Seeing as they're brand new no one knows how long the average life span of one of those tvs are,so 4 years extra warranty could well be very beneficial.

Well I picked up the sony tv today, was surprised when I went into the shop, last week the 3d starter pack was half price at 340, Today it was free,

So I ended getting everything for 1400 Euro which is a great deal.

Would you be able to let me know in which store you got this? Sounds like a pretty good deal all right. Thanks.
