    Saw this bird bird in my back garden last week and managed to grab a couple of shots. Dont know for sure what breed it is but im sure there's someone here that give the definitive answer

    Thanx Clear, truth is they wouldve been sharper ahd i not been indoor shooting through a venetian blind and a shamefully dirty window :(
    Camera wasnt an overly insane species, a nikon d700 with a nikkor 70 - 200 2.8 lens, i wouldve gotten even closer had i taken the time to put on a tele converter on but i was in too much of a rush not to miss the shot of the bird.

    Ha through a window too... nice.

    I wish I had stuff like this giong on in my garden... I have lot's of magpies... thats about it
