Have you tried a crane battery?
Might be able to help you out!

I think that would work (Havn't bothered measuring anything though...)

I have regular batteries, 9.6v mini and stick if you wanted to swap either, but can pay cash no bother.

Have an 8.4V Intellect crane stock battery, would trade for a mini, as long as the crane battery will fit yours. Could catch up with ya in town tomorrow and you can grab it off me and test it?

Ye sounds good, I have a small selection of batteries, you could test them first, I dunno how good they perform but you know me, not a heavy skirmisher...
