    Jesus that looks ghastly.....

I'd hoped that the conclusion of the Twilight 'saga' (sic) would have driven a stake through the EMO contagion that has ripped through the fantasy and horror genre's like a cancer, it appears not.

There's only been one truly great cinematic take on this tale, and that was Neil Jordan's The Company of Wolves.

First EMO vampires, now EMO werewolves, what next? EMO zombies?

Didn't we get that with one of the Return of the Living Dead films?

The gang that directed all the twilight flicks should never be allowed near a camera again. This looks awful! they have ruined a story that could have had great potential as an 18's dark & gritty film. Now its been diluted & turned into an emo hormone fest for twelve year old girls ..... Sigh*

^$$$$$$$$$$.....reviewers say he chews up every scene and kicks every other actor in the nads, from an acting perspective.

I'll admit it....i wanna see it!, on DVD ....visually it looks lush.

What a shame. When i heard they were making a film of it, i though wow could be a cool horror movie in the line of "Company of Wolves". But no it turns out that the makers of Twilight are doing it with a 12 Certificate. I havnt seen it but its getting very bad reviews. To me it sounds like its a love story for the MTV generation, pity, the story had so much potential.

Saw this yesterday, thought it was much better than expected tbh :), the ending was very twilightish which was the bad part tbh, but other than that it was quite entertaining, 6/10

I am guessing the big twist is
RRH or her fella is really the wolf

Oh Liz!...how i WISHED your spoiler was in the movie, alas what a total turd this movie turned out to be :(

Your idea was clever, a seemingly good twist on the wolf, but the real wolf turned out be be a total damp squib
    it was Valerie's father]

Dreadful movie stuffed full of Stargate/BSG and Caprica actors...Hardwicke has some interesting visual styles, use of colors/snow etc. but the sets and village look very fake and cheap.

The wolf CGI by Rythm & Hues wasn't too bad, i'll give props the "inner voice" of the wolf Valerie hears sounded very menancing, but it was a trite and weak effort with hammy characters, poor acting and some blantant "Twilight" scenes.

It's not a movie i would recomend.....it's sad to think Liz could write a better twist then these "pros"

Watched it last night. Absolutely terrible. Crap acting. Really bad script.

    Avoid like the plague.

This wasn't as bad as I thought (hoped?) it would be. However there were some what I call 'Twighlightisms' that ruined it. Eg: some of the characters having very strong American accents, the love interest guy's incredibly modern hair doo, not to mention some of the romancy stuff was cringe worthy.
On the plus side though it was visually stunning. The colour palette and art direction were superb. Oldman's character was really cool, an asshole but ultimately on the side of good despite being somewhat corrupt.
    I actually felt that
the father being the wolf was a good idea. If it had bee the Gareth Bale look alike boy it would have been way too obvious
    .

I can't help but feel they originally set out to make an interesting film, but ultimately bowed to studio pressure to appeal to the tween market and ended up with a bit of a mess up.

The wolf CGI by Rythm & Hues wasn't too bad

i thought the cgi wolf was very amateur hour and felt unrealistic (i know it had a human intelligence)

It's no wonder they are giving Botox to kids these days as all they seem to do is frown and pout according to the Twilight generation
