I want to make a quick (and cheap) trip to Austria. My Ryanair flight form Cork arrives in Stansted at 09:25. The connection to Linz would be at 10:10.
As I'm only travelling with hand luggage, can I somehow make a run a still be able to get on this flight?

Very unlikely tbh - you'll have to get from plane -> landside -> through security again -> gate.

I wouldnt think so, its too tight. As allready said you will have to go through security again over there and there might be a queue.

nah dude, too risky - if your flight leaves with even 10 minutes delay, your well and trully fooked!

Security and immigration. No way. You wont make it. I would leave myself a good hour and a half to two hours.

You'd never make it! They might close the gate for the next flight at 9.50 or so. And just because the first flight might touch down at 9.25 on the dot, doesn't mean it won't take 20 mins for it to taxi, stairs to come, you to get off, if there's a bus you have to wait for everyone to get off, then security etc.

    Way too tight.

Why would you need to go through security again? You'd already have your boarding card so wouldn't you just be getting a connection?

The airport isn't set up for airside connections.

Go for it, it will be a photo finish, but you should make it. I have run the gauntlet on occasions at Stansted and always managed to make the flights.

You obviously haven't tried it in Stansted.

Its an EU requirement that all arriving and departing passengers are separated...the only ones that I know of who havent managed to implement it fully yet are the DAA in Pier A of Dublin airport. So put simply the arriving passengers get channeled through Immigration to the arrivals hall...yes you can see the departing passengers but through glass walls...thats as close as you get.

For the original poster...Do not attempt to do this connection. It's far too short. In Stansted with everything going well you will require at least 90 minutes to connect.
