If you can answer yes to the following, you are exempt from "blame" of what has happened to Ireland 2010 in economic situation -

1. Where you in a position to change the position our government took. Did you vote for a political party that shared your view ? Please attach facts that support your argument that this party tried vigourously to prevent the current economic collapse by alternative economic policies.
2. Did you protest or actively encourage a more prudent approach to financial expenses and demand a better fiscal policy? If so, please attach links to highlight your fight for sanity in a time of desired economic recklessness by the Irish people.
3. Are you inable to make a mature, intelligent decision for yourself ? If so, fair enough, you couldnt of possibly demanded that prudency be shown by our government.
4. What did you do for your country when the rest of its people were soley concerned with their own personal wealth as opposed to the greater good ? Please attach factual evidence as opposed to opinionated rhetoric . .

What annoys me most is that everybody that moans about the state of our country, claims that they had nothing to do with the mess we are in. .

Labour party are most popular because they blame the banks, the government, the builders etc. Brilliant . . Even their own supporters know their policies wouldnt wipe your ass because they are so thin ! ! I bought a house only so I could start a family and believed that I would never be able to get one if I didnt get on the property ladder. I am screwed in negative equity, but dont think its as simple as blaming the government.

The banks can lend recklessly because the people of the country allow the government to allow low regulation. This whole rhetoric of "well bertie told us to buy so we bought" has allowed the people of this country ignore their role in the catastrophy that faces our country. Bertie taking brown paper bags has NOTHING to do with the state of this country. .

That was disgusting and shouldnt of happened , but what has that got to do with the collapse of our economy ? "oh, its a sign of FF's corruption" . . Yes, but what has that to do with the collapse of our economy ?

I challenge any idiot that thinks the corruption that is spoken of (and is in many regards prob true), has caused this mess . . Please directly qualify how this "corruption" has caused this ? I am not defending FF, I am attacking the Irish electorate that either voted for an inadequate government (that has ruined our country) or for a lame duck opposition party that promised everybit as much a disasterous mandate as the perceived clowns that people condemn.

Perhaps its to do with the rezoning of land ? And this is limited to FF councellors ? No . . Perhaps not . . No . . Of course not . . But that doesnt stop people from ignoring that all parties fked us over in that regards . . Society turned a blind eye and voted for whoever would give them whatever they could gain. . Of course people with more money benefited, but in general it was ok while most people could get a piece of the pie . .

Know this . . When you applaud the opposition on attacking the current government, you applaud the insult of your own decisions over 12 years . . Not just that , you applaud the lame opposition we had during these years that promised nothing less then the same expense and never suggested they would reduce the property policy that has led us to this crisis.

If people wonder why they perceive their government to be ignorant to the problems facing this country, its because the people of this country mirror this very problem. The phrase "you get the government you want" is no more obvious then in this country.

As a nation we demanded that our government gave us everything they promised, without any thought for the long term ramifications. Right now, we are getting the exact same Sh*t promised from the alternative .. I promise and challange people to quote this post in the next 5 years as we will end up in the same sh*t if people dont cop on to the fact that it got exactly what it wanted and ignored the potential ramifications of its desires. .

Does anybody really think that labour or FG has offered the potential downfalls of their alternative measures ? If so please do divulge and stand over your confident predictions . . I dont promote anything other then logical analysis . . Because you are angry with FF doesnt excuse you ignoring the important decisions/direction this country should take . . Please I challenge anybody to point us all in the right direction without quoting "no corruption" as if this is the answer to our problems . . .

The IRREFUTABLE FACT is that this country has gone down the direction that the people wanted . . While the going was good, nobody cared enough to do ANYTHING about it .. This is hard for most to understand or accept . . That is why we havent learned from the mistakes and that is why we wont deserve to get out of this crisis quicker . . We slag our government for the very same thing we lack in society . . Spotting our own faults and our own part in this crisis . .

PS. Dont blame me .. I had nothing to do with the state of the country . . I didnt march, I didnt demand more from my local TD but then again I didnt know any better. . I didnt care to be honest . . My only sin is ignorance . . Therefore I shouldnt pay for this mess .. . Somebody . . Anybody else should . .

THE ONLY PEOPLE EXEMPT FROM BLAME ARE THOSE WHO KNOW NO BETTER . . .
