Sorry if the subject is a bit vague! A friend of mine has his sky-box in his attic and has some sort of transmitter/receiver thingy on top of his tv which he uses with his remote. Its a small thing about the size of a thimble and it plugs in to the back of the tv. Does anyone know what this thing is called ? And can one be…

Sorry if the subject is a bit vague!
A friend of mine has his sky-box in his attic and has some sort of transmitter/receiver thingy on top of his tv which he uses with his remote.
Its a small thing about the size of a thimble and it plugs in to the back of the tv.
Does anyone know what this thing is called ?
And can one be got to work with an NTL box ?
