Having trouble getting into first gear when changing down on the gears. Does the Mondeo have known gear box problems or is it more likely to be the Flywheel. I have not heard any obvious flywheel noise yet. Thanks

Try changing the MTF before anything more expensive. Helped a lot on my old car(98,000 miles and never changed).
