Synching guitar loops with a DJ?

I have recently started playing guitar with a DJ for a new project we're keen to get going. The line up at moment consists of three of us:
    - DJ + Vocals + Percussion
    - Vocals + Percussion
    - me, on Guitar + Percussion.

I want to use guitar loops. I'm using a Digitech Jamman Stereo. I'm using an octave pedal + bass boost to play bass lines with my guitar and loop them, then adding various other loops and funky bits and noises and whatnot.

This is all sounding great but we're having trouble keeping the guitar loops and DJ tracks in synch. They start off sounding spot on but gradually drift little by little. The DJ has been adjusting his tempo to try and keep them locked but this is not ideal as he also has to sing. He's using CDJ's.

So is it just a matter of practice until we can both hit our loops without even a millisecond of error (is that even possible!?) or is there some some better way to synch them?

I realise we could both use Abelton Live but we want to avoid doing this if at all possible.

Unfortunetly I think you hit the nail on the head in your last sentence. You'll never be locked in unless you can sync everything via midi. As far as I know the Jamman cant do that. You might be able to do better with a Line6 JM4 as at least it displays the BPM.
