Why do politicians always talk around questions & never give a straight answer ? I talking mainly about the party that are in power.
Like how much Lies has Fianna Faíl told us in the last 3 years ?
Even the 2 Brians are still in denial about the real state of our finances & the reason the IMF are here (i taught we had turned the corner ? ? ? Im so Fcukin angry
Emigration is my only hope now :(

i agree. it sickens me, especially listening to Lenihan on the 6-1 with Dobbo. He sprouted enough ****e in the last 3 days to fill a slatted house and now that the games up & he's been found out, he's still at it, waffling away as if he's on autopilot.

Edit. I just remembered, Gilmore did the same thing on the late late show last week, talked a lot about how he was going to clean up politics, but he just danced around where he'd cut when asked

You've got to hand it to the slimy pricks though. It's a tremendous skill to avoid a question and get away with murder. There's the famous clip with Jeremy Paxman & Michael Howard where Paxman finally gave in after asking him the same thing ten times.
