Please help me choose a film to watch tonight. It HAS to be comedy!
I have watched Zombie land, hot tub time machine, Schindler's list, The Hangover, Get Him to the Greek and a few others.
I want a film that will make me laugh, possibly piss myself, not a romantic comedy either.
    Any idea's?

If you haven't seen Wedding Crashers try that. Watched it recently and thought it was hilarious.

    I'll second Life of Brian.
Shaun of the Dead - zombie comedy although may not be as hilarious as I recall watching it post a few smokes.
Buffalo Soldiers - black comedy, mightn't appeal to all
    Dodgeball - stupid funny.

Thank You for Smoking (2006). Good bit of black humour in it. One of my favourite films :)

I find comedy to be one of the hardest genres to get right as most comedies are rubbish
The only good comedies i would rate in any way from the last few years would be Superbad, The Hangover and Kick Ass, anything else is forgotten 5 minutes after watching
worth mentioning would be Scott Pilgrim vs the world and maybe Date Night but that last one not by much

How about a Mockumentary? Everyone's seen This Is Spinal Tap by now, but I think Best In Show is even better.

You are the type of what the age is searching for, and what it is afraid it has found. I am so glad that you have never done anything, never carved a statue, or painted a picture, or produced anything outside of yourself! Life has been your art. You have set yourself to music. Your days are your sonnets.

Don't think it's out on DVD yet, but you can get it through *cough* other methods as the DVD version has been floating around for some time now.

Haven't seen it yet myself, though.

I'm in the mood for some spoof movies tonight, might slap on the Hot Shots movies.

I'd go for an older quality comedy like Groundhog Day, Tootsie, Withnail and I...

Oh, and Super Troopers is excellent if you enjoy zany films.

I thought both Kick Ass and Scott Pilgrim were brilliant so we may not have similar tastes :P

Having said that, Four Lions is very funny. Give it a try :)
