Going forward in 2011 my new years resolution is to start aiming and collecting WWII and if possible WWI if such airsoft copies of guns exist

Can anyone suggest an available WWII type airsoft treat ?
want Santa to bring me something nice!
(something that Irish airsoft stores will actually be able to stock in time for Christmas that is....)

Box cannon is next on my list of things to buy if Tony in Limerick still has some,
followed by a Luger, still need to get a Tommy Gun, would love a sten, not too gone on a greese gun but still may buy one if the price is right & already have a KAR98, after that
anything Old looking I will want.

Santa can get you an m1918 BAR mk.II delivered from South Yorkshire for a few pennies (and a few more again)*cough* :pac:

Ahem, besides all the guns already mentioned, there is an M2 Carbine (granted it's not quite WW2, and more Korean War) made by Marushin as well as the M1 Garand, and I'm not sure what else they have. If you can raise Shoot n'Scoot on the phone, obviously you've a selection of Bren and Lee Enfields to take from as well. There are also, if I recall and am not going mental(er), a few other Walther variants knocking about too.

On a final note, might be a bit late for Christmas, but I believe that the Inokatsu m1911A1 CO2 beastie is being released in and around Christmas 2010/New year 2011, from something that was said by Inokatsu's head engineer on a video posted recently from that arms expo show held in France.

Edit: Oh yes, and this Bullets ...

    m2-1.jpg

8mm insanity, you know you want to ;)

I've seen a relatively recent redwolf video pimping a browning .30 cal too, but dunno who by, if available.

Have not had a pay rise since 2007 and no sign of one for 2011 either, but rumour has it the work christmas bonus is going to be higher than its been an quite a few years
so with any luck I may be able to be mean and buy something nice.

Emailed shoot n scoot a few times without any response
did not ring them though as for some reason I absoutly dispise having to use the phone unless its absolutly necesseary (10 Euro's phone credit lasts me 6 months  )

    Bren would be No.1
    SLME coming in 2nd place
ZB-26 would take the place of a Bren if it was out.
Mosin Nagant would be nice (but only after an SMLE)

What a lovely piece of equipment, it would look so well sitting out in my back garden :D would love one.
I've passed up the oppertunity a few times to buy the tripod/stands since I did not have an actual gun to
put it on, next time I get the chance I may buy the stand just in case.

Worryingly, from that picture, it looks like you sleep with it under your pillow :)

Never had the call/excuse to get one in....yet

one deposit for MK1 Bren Gun just sent. Warren mentioned he was under the impression that he could only ship to an Airsoft retailer in Southern Ireland so when the time comes I may be begging one of our Local airsoft retailers to do me a favour and accept/import it for me.

No bothers. But you should have no problems getting it sent direct as long as it is below 1 Joule.

Pictures shall be required bullets. There is no other option.

Incidentally, how much was the deposit and total asking price?

200UKP deposit, said he would let me know once work was closer to finishing
about the balance and to think about spare mags (they are 150 mid caps)
He's only doing the MK1 version now. (Which suits me better)
The total cost listed on the website is 685UKP. I had not thought to ask if
this was still the current price as from the posts on the forum the lad was still active answering queries and making stuff.
