    Target Sports Bolton.

I ordered 2 100W replacement bulbs for my lamps. I received what can only be described as pieces of excrement in the context of doing the job.

The had horizontal filaments which was bad enough, but along with that the filaments seemed to be stretched out, and cast an absolutely crap multi ringed beam. Tried them out in the day and denounced them right away much to the surprise of my mate.

I know what a good lamp light should look like in the day and changed the bulb to a proper 75W bulb. The difference was like night & day.

So I won't be buying any more bulbs off them. And I'd advise anyone buying bulbs online to check that they have nice tight looking filaments which are vertical in orientation.

I received a reply to my email. It stated that they have sold two hundred odd of these bulbs to game keepers, professional pest controllers, etc without complaint. It went on to say I had not installed the bulb correctly. Well, I am going to take photos of the difference and return to sender. I may also remind them of the time I bought filters for my Blitz 240, which came with Lightforce in black writing across the front. Buying driving filters and selling them on as hunting filters. They'll take the bulbs back for a refund but not before they got their dig in :pac:

Jesus I only wanted something that does the job. Got a pair of bulbs from Optics Warehouse, they're the wrong filament too but they're streets ahead of the junk TSB sent me. Shining the TSB bulbs on the floor wouldn't even make ya squint, the OW bulbs make yer eyes water

How ya getting on with that fancy .223 of yours D?

How do you find the roedale mod.
If Santy is listening to me, I want one for christmas.

I could not believe how small and light they are in comparison to their competitors.

I'm just about perfect on the stalking rifle now. In fact, I find the Harris on full extension is longer than the barrel now. now that is the longest Harris.

I'd say with a Roedale Mod would make it even shorter.
I could not fit one on my rifle as teh thread was different on the one I looked at.

Is your Mod, Aluminium or Steel

Which Christmas? Make sure your supplier has it physically in stock.

    lol

AFAIK the mods are in stock, however be warned, they are in metric thread!
I have an imperial thread on mine to match the mod.
