Last January after a half-marathon I was finally forced to accept I had a heel problem and seek help.....10 months later I'm still not right.
I have tried doctors, repeated physio - expensive, massage - expensive, off-the shelf insoles, prescription orthotics - expensive and useless, prescription anti-inflammatories and 101 different stretches and exercises - my heel still hurts. On top of this i've totally given up running except in competition.
Admittedly, I have done a full calendar of summer triathlons including a 3olympics and 1 half-ironman. It's mid-november - any suggestions as to how I can be back running in the new-year gratefully accepted!

<sorry fortyfoot, but this needs a lot more specialized advice than you can get from a forum>
