3GS 4.0.1 3G & Edge Not Working (Worked Previously on 3.1.2)

    Hey guys,

I've only recently noticed that my 3G and Edge are no longer working on my 3GS where they worked fine under the previous iOS. I've checked and double checked the settings and they're perfect, MMS is working fine but for some reason the 3G / Edge no longer works. Even stranger, sometimes (rarely) it will manage to load a fresh page but then becomes inactive again. Works fine through WiFi so not a browser problem.

    It's a 32GB 3GS Jailbroken and unlocked with Ultasn0w on 4.0.1.

Here are my current settings just to clarify :

I was going to upgrade to 4.1 and jailbreak with limera1n but wasn't sure if 4.1 had been unlocked yet ?

I'm on Vodafone and my 3G/Edge signal disappeared yesterday.

I called them this morning and the guy told me to try a hard reset (i.e. the one where you hold both home and sleep buttons till the apple symbol appears).

Worked for me - no harm in trying yourself!

Have you tried resetting network settings?

    Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings

You B-E-A-U-T-I-F-U-L man ! I was going Settings>General>Network>Reset which was having no effect. Meteor were about as helpful as a poke in the eye, kept putting me on hold until I gave up.

    Thank you !
