I figure here is the best place to post this, so apologies if its not.

Since I got sc2 I started watching YouTube videos to help me get better. I really enjoyed watching the commentaries different casters were doing and found myself wanting more.

I stumbled the MLG Dallas streams and was completely glued to it for the weekend.

To get to my point, and my queston... I know Dreamhack is coming up and will be casted on Day[9]'s stream for the most part. But where is the best places to find out what competitions are coming up and where can I find the casts for them.

    Thanks.

The best place I find is the teamliquid starcraft 2 tournament forums. All the lastest topics are of upcoming, or current tournaments.

DJ Wheat is worth a listen to aswell, I enjoy his stuff, and he only took up the game at SC2 beta afaik , so you can relate to alot of his theory and opinions if your a new player

    Thanks everybody!!!

Ive tried to navigate the Team Liquid site before, but have found it a bit confusing.
There appears to be a hell of a lot of information contained on one page, and its a bit much to take in.

Anyway, I found http://www.teamliquid.net/tournaments/ which seems to be what Im looking for.

    As said before,

day[9] dailies are great to look through. http://day9tv.blip.tv/ is his archive.

Keep up to date with the major tournaments, GSL(slobal star league) is starting season 3 next week on GOMtv. I have a thread about it with most information.

I like watching streams of diffrent players, the team ROOT have some of their members streaming when they play, its quite useful to watch and pick up some points and tips

Join our IRC great way to talk to one another

Look through youtube accounts for various different casters channels, here is a good group of people that should be interested in:
    Day9
    HD Starcraft
    Husky
    Artosis
    Tasteless

http://sc2casts.com/ is a good website for recent casts by people.

on team liquid, on the right hand side of the website there is a calender, under the calender is the live streaming of different members have a look at some of the players and usually go to the ones that have the most views.

    http://www.gamescast.tv/schedule.php

    - Compilation of streams. Features SC2 stuff over the next couple of days such as the Day9 dailies, DJWheat's Weapon of Choice and ESL GO4SC2 Cup.

    🤪

    Thanks Again everybody !!!

I have been completely glued to Day9 for the last month or so. Loved the Dreamhack stuff he had.

DJ Wheat is another interesting commentator, and there has been some good stuff on the teamliquidnet Youtube channel with him and Chill casting game recordings.

ForceSC2Strategy is another good youtube channel, but thats not the competition type stuff Im looking for at the moment.

Some of the random stuff on Team Liquid streams can be good, but some can be completely awful. - Diamond level players with smurf accounts cheesing bronze players - Boooo :(

Its really the stuff with commentaries that Im looking for, and I think that the Team Liquid Calendar seems the best bet.
