    Hi all,

I hope this is the correct section for this.

I was just wondering if I should include my leaving cert results in my CV. Do employers still seek these even though I am in my 30's?

I could do with extra room if I was to exclude them.

No don't put them. Outline the school you went to and when you completed your LC but no results. Its pointless. The person you were there is a completely different one now. It's padding and no one looks at it.

Certainly don't put down a full listing of results. No one really cares. If you did a good LC you could list either the number of points you got or a short one line list of your grades.

    Thanks for the replies!

Well its a fairly average leaving cert that I did 15 years ago

Would rather leave it out but then I would be afraid they would want to know and ask for the actual cert!

People do care in specific jobs. If they are particularly good and in specific subjects (like an a1 in hons maths) then they can have a place.

Leave them out, work experience is more important.

True, but they'd probably specify that you should include them.
