    i have a triton t 90 , it is on a elcb 40A .0.03ma is this right or should it have a mcb also . what is a rcbo:confused:

    ELCB = earth leakage circuit breaker. This is basically the older RCD, does the same job though. RCBO = Residual current breaker with overcurrent protection. This is essentially and RCD and MCB combined. Either an RCD and MCB should protect the shower or an RCBO just to save space in the board. The same job will be done with either setup. If its just an elcb you have protecting your shower then it just means no electricity can leak to earth without being detected and supply disconnected(saves you from getting a shock). With no overcurrent protection the shower or the supply cables could potentially go on fire if a short between phase and neutral occured.
