    Hey folks

The exhaust manifold on my car is cracked and making a woeful noise. Got it welded but it cracked again. The weld won't hold it anyway due to the expasion from the heat.

I priced a new one from and Opel dealer and they were looking for 2200 plus vat to buy and fit. Crazy money considering they are 700 notes at trade price and only take a few hours to fit. Anywho I'm wondering does anyone know any scrap yards that might have one of these in stock. Wanna try for a second hand one instead of forking out for a new one.

    Any infor greatly appreciated.

Try Otto car parts as they stock spurious parts for Opel. I've used them for servicing parts and find them excellent.

Or even try vauxhall /opel in the north. Also GSF parts.

    Thats stupid money.

Get it welded properly and get the mating flanges milled/surface ground flat afterwards, it won't break again.
