    stanley super star solid fuel
I will be putting in a sechondhand stanley super star solid fuel range. I want to run some radiators of it, not much room near the range so I wonder if it would be ok to fit the circulating pump upstairs near the hot water cylinder confused.gif

Yes this would be the way to set it up, the primaries to the stanley should be at least one inch copper then tee off at the cylinder so that a stat will bring the pump on or alternatively fit a systemlink.

Thanks Red Bull - how many rads ( single or double ) are you heating?

Just fitted a secondhand Stanley Superstar which is in great condition . I only have 4 double rads off it yet and they are heating fine but the oven is only heating to 150 C - Any suggestions

you may need to clean out the area under the oven, need to be cleaned out weekly to get good heat in oven

Thanks Red Bull but that is not the problem because the range is very clean all round. I managed to get the temperature up to 200 today but that is by leaving the bottom door open for extra draft but that should not be necessary

I don't know anybody but don't light the fire until you get it sorted. A high risk of carbon monoxide poisoning

Contact Stanley for their service agent for that area
