Cybergun are a company that deal with licenced Airsoft Guns - that's their market. They rebrand other guns from various manufactures, and slap on their trades. The good thing about Cybergun is that it's harder to get bad batches, as it's already going through a couple of stages of QC - Original Manufacturer, Cybergun HQ, & your local retailer. They do a fair bit of R&D (Research & Development) as well, which is always nice.

They have a variety of Airsoft Guns, and a variety of manufacturers for most models. I do believe they also manufacture some in-house, but I'm not sure on that one. Here's the ones that I know:

    - Jing Gong (JG): Sig Sauer 552
    - ICS: M4, MP5, Sig Sauer 551 & 552
    - G&G: M4
    - DBoys: M4, M203
    - Kuan Ju Works (KJW): Beretta M9A1, Taurus PT92, S&W 1911PD, 1911A1, Sig Sauer 226 & 229, and many more.
    - KWC: Taurus 24/7, Colt Python, Desert Eagle
    - Well: Mauser SR, Mauser SR Pro Tactical
    - CYMA: M14, GSG-9 (MP5A5 w/UMP Stock), AK Variants
    - King Arms: Sig Sauer 556, M&P M4 type

There are many many others, and much more models etc. This was all off the top of my head, and I do hope it helps. It really depends on what you're looking for. As far as I know the only company to ever do a Famas is Tokyo Marui, so odds are that's what it is. But I'm not 100% certain on that.

Do your research on each RIF you're planning on buying - it can only benefit you. Hobby Airsoft, the official Cybergun dealer for Ireland, are great for answering questions on manufacturers etc. They have a thread in the retailers section, and are usually happy to help.

A side note: Cybergun are grand, and a company responsible for a large portion of my collection, but just remember that they don't exactly specialise in the top end stuff, more so the middle of the road - which suits me grand :)

Thanks Inari, not buying one just trying to solve an argument!

I have a Cybergun m16a4 that seems to made by A&K. At least the gearbox and gears have the trademarks. I've looked at A&K stuff and they do an m16a4 that looks to be the same only without the rear flip sight. On a similar note, P&J AEGs that you find on Polish websites (and TNT used to do them) are also A&K rebrands.

So,,, Does that mean that Cybergun don't manufacture ANY of their own guns? :)

I'm not sure. There are a range of different models - for example there is a KA Galil, and a Cybergun Galil. They have about 4 different Siig 552's as well.

There is or at least was a clone company, JP that made the FAMAS aswell. From reviews I have read it seems different than the model who ever makes the Cybergun one and it's not TM.

The JP has better externals, more metal content and more weight to it. I have been looking for one for a while now. If I see 1J JP FAMAS F1 anywhere I'd snap it up for the the 'ol bullpup collection.
