Property Tax

Hope I am posting on the right forum (new to this)

We own two houses, one of which we have rented out and the other is vacant (we have moved abroad).

Who should we speak to regarding the property tax on your second home and do we have to pay it, seeing as we are not living in the second house or even residing in the country.

    Hope this makes sense!

As you are not residing in the country, the vacant house cannot be classified as your principal private residence and so it is liable to the €200 NPPR tax.

You should consult the NPPR website for simple ways to pay the tax online.

As they aren't living in the country surely neither house is their PPR? Unless they've moved abroad with their job?
