I have a Belling IDW450 slimline dishwasher and have a skight problem. With the last two washes it is leaving a film on the dishes. None of the lights that indicate either rinse-aid or salt is on yet the glass is very cloudy when the cycle is finished. Any idea what to do apart from getting a pair of rubber gloves.. :-)

One of the most common problems with glassware occurs when hard water is involved. Hard water is water that contains a high number of minerals. Soap has a much more difficult time dissolving grime and dirt, and rinsing everything fully away, when water is hard.

To tell if your glasses are plagued by hard water deposits, try soaking a glass in vinegar for 5 minutes. If the cloudy deposits are removed, then hard water is your problem

put more salt in your dishwasher ,there might be enough so the light doesnt come on but not enough to soften your water
