I am about to apply for the PDGE for 2011 and my 1st preference will be Maynooth and my second will be trinity. But as both applications are separate on pac i believe I have to pay 80euro to apply for Maynooth and then another 45euro for applying for trinity. What a load of sh1t!

You have to pay €80 to apply for the NUI colleges which include UCD,UCC,NUIG and NUIM. Trinity is separate. Don't blame PAC

Hold on! I thought there were no preferences for the PAC, you just put in loads of options and then you get offers, and then you decide what you want and pick it. Tis not like the CAO I don't think

I did it last year and I had to pick an order of my options i.e. UCD (1) NUIM (2) UCC (3) ....

I got offered UCD and none of the others if I remember.

Its almost the exact same as the CAO

For the NUI courses you have to put them in order of preference. Like the CAO.

    Trinity is separate.

    Give PAC a ring.
